Despacito achieves record-breaking 18th week @1 in Germany // UPDATE: Despacito drops 1-2

Recommended Posts

The biggest song of all-time in Germany chart history - Despacito.

The Luis Fonsi assisted track reigns on top of the German single charts for an 18th consecutive week, beating Boney M's record single "Rivers Of Babylon" which claimed the top spot for 17 weeks in 1978.

Further down this week's chart, Pink is expected to remain in the top 10 with her latest single "What About Us". Little Mix will achieve their second ever single on the German chart, as their collaboration with CNCO is debuting on this week's list.

What the f :wendy21:

Germany....

well whatever, after all Despacito DID NOT break the record. We have two different chart companies collecting data on different sources so on the "official" one Despacito is #2 and got dethroned by Axwell Ingrosso's "More Than You Know".
