Do you have any real scary or creepy stories?

I live in country with three different Asian races and Asians are pretty superstitious with anything related to ghosts and spirits which is why our horror movies aren't shit. I've definitely seen my fair share especially as a child who's had to go back to his haunted village every holiday period; but honestly to make people understand these experience I'd have to translate a lot of things and explain Malay and Chinese contexts pertaining to superstition, spirituality, tradition and folkore. I don't think anyone here would be the slightest bit interested.

So yeah, nothing extremely scary, and since it was in a sketchy neighborhood, it could’ve just been some crackhead, but in the moment I thought I was gonna be sacrificed or something kiii

You say that but I was about to shit my pants reading it and imagining it :nickishook:

I was sf terrified in the moment. It’s sort of a known as a big no-no to go walking around that neighborhood late at night (there’s a lot of unsavory characters hanging around), and there’s an old pub that’s supposedly haunted, so why my dumb ass was out walking around by myself with a nearly dead phone was just stupid on my part nnnn. :whereisit:

I have a few more stories, but I’d like others to share theirs (also thanks for encouraging me to make this thread sis).

I probably shouldn't be doing this 'cause it's 02:20 am in here right now and i know thinking about this trigger stuff but well :rip:

As i said on my "The Nun" thread, i'm a bit of a medium, but i'd say more like i'm a bit sensitive for stuff, so i'm always hearing and feeling stuff, and sometimes seeing, and after happening so often you kinda get used to and forget about it at time - but last week something happened that had never happened before: some telekinesis shit that scared me a bit. I was on my desk in my room, and on the same desk there were some paper, a lamp and my lipbalm. Without any movement on the desk, as I was just typing on the notebook, literally sitting still 'cause i was too focused, my lipbalm decides to roll on the desk. :fall2:

Two weeks ago i woke in the middle of the night, without any reason, and i just knew i couldn't turn to other side 'cause as i thought about rolling to the other side, i saw a figure standing still right next to my bed, like bending over and looking at me. I started to sweat like SHIT and started to pray, even though i really don't know any prayers like, full thing, but the intention is what truly matters :whereisit: But the feeling just wouldn't go away, and i was still feeling someone close, so i said to myself "k bitch, it is what it is, if it's time to die, it's now", and as i turned, the feeling went away, and there was no one in there. :fall2:

These two were the most recent ones, but a few months ago i was alone at home taking a shower with the bathroom door opened and i saw my bedroom's lights going on and off and on and off and on and off and then like a sound of a slap was made at the glass dor of shower, and i literally screamed. Probably was 'someone' trying to scary me and it worked :fall2:

I'll try to remember more stories, they're so usual to me that it's hard to keep them fresh in mind :hilaryk:

I would’ve fucking screamed. That’s one of my biggest fears :rip:

in my childhood home, there was this room that one my uncles used to stay in when he’d come and visit. There was nothing really special about it (at least to me, anyway), but he developed a habit of waking up at different intervals in the night. Everyone in my family is a light sleeper, so it would make my dad mad, because he had to wake up very early for work, and hearing my uncle get up all night disturbed his sleep. So finally, one day, my dad asked why he kept getting up and my uncle told him that he kept seeing people at the foot of his bed watching him sleep. :rip:

my dad later moved me into that room a year later but I never had anything happen to me but that shit stuck with me.

I’ve always believed in ghosts or spirits but the exeriants I’ve had in my home have solidified my belief.

Im an empath so I’m sensitive to the people around me and their emotions or energy they put off which can really be great or a curse. This also means I’m sensitive to energies from things we cannot see.

Years ago when I was still in middle school I would stay up late and talk to my friends on skype (because I didn’t have friends in real life....shocking nothing has changed) which would make my mom mad because I was staying up will 4am with school being in 3 hours from then. One night I was up again on my phone in my room watching tv as well when 3 am hit and my tv randomly went static for a few seconds and the show was back on. I didn’t think anything of it because it could have just reset itself. The next night I decided to call it a night with my skype friends early and went to bed but kept my tv on because it helped me fall asleep. Well in the middle of the night about 3am I jumped awake out of a deep sleep and the tv was showing static again and then went back to the show. This would go on for a few weeks and I just ignored it, until one night my entire tv shut off and back on and off and back on.

that freaked me the fuck out so I unplugged the tv and left it alone. The next night I was going to bed when i saw my door open. No lights were on but the moon made it easier for me to see silhouettes and I saw the silhouette of my mom enter my room and stand by my bed side. I rolled over thinking she was there to see if I was on the phone or not and after a few mins I turned back over because she didn’t close my door. Well I got up and out of bed because I needed to pee. So after I peed I went see if my mom was still awake. I look around the house and she’s not back from the casino but she was just in my room....

flash forward a few years and my mom had twins and they had these toy trains that they would ride on. Well every night they would start playing the music they play when you press a button at 3 am and kept happening until the twins outgrew them.

Ill continue this tomorrow guys! There’s a lot more but I’m tired af

I had a plush dog that would sing a song barking if you press his head or his belly. The nights that he started to sing by himself were countless, it was basically two times a week, and always made me and my sister get scared - and it was always like in the middle of the night, 2-5am.

Once I heard a noise outside my house that sounded like a helicopter was landing on my roof or some shit, then I heard an almost inaudible voice somewhere in my room, then i woke up with a matching bruise on both my legs :rip: idk it’s not that creepy but it scared me shitless

And I literally was looking up if there was a manhunt or something to explain the noises but nothing. I don’t know though nnn, it was like 3 in the morning, i was prolly just tired

When I was in primary school I was so crept out by Hannah Montana that I used to have scary dreams where her blonde wigs would chase me down the street. It didn't help when our class was forced to sing The Climb in front of the school and I was so frightened that I pretended to be sick. To this day I can't even listen to Crazier by Taylor Swift because it reminds me too much of bad childhood experiences with that show.

I just remember another one. A few weeks ago in the morning of a weekend, i was chatting with my sister in the bathroom, she was showering and i was standing in the sink talking to her (it's a closed box but it's open from above). Then i saw a figure passing in the hallway going in the direction of my mom's bedroom and i was going to ask her what she was going to do for lunch. So i went out of the bathroom and when i got into her bedroom, she wasn't there. So i said out loud "Mom?" and she screamed from the kitchen "I'm in the kitchen" :fall2: I stood still for a few seconds, took a deep breath, acted as if nothing happened to pretend i wasn't scared (I'M NOT GIVING THEM THE SATISFACTION OF SCARYING ME :oprah6:) and i walked back and went right into the kitchen and my mom was cooking. I was paled when i got there, i told her and she was like 'oh well :nickishook:' -no surprise to her 'cause she knows my sister and i are sensitive to this kind of stuff, and even she is a bit so...

When I used to live with my mother, when I was about 6, there was this “urban legend” about this couple that lived in our town. They were kind of wealthy, but no one ever saw the wife AT ALL. It was always just the husband that would leave the house. And they never put up any kind of holiday decorations or anything to make it their own. It just looked very sterile and cold from the outside. Anyway, my mother told me one day when we were on a walk and walked past the house that there was a story that the wife had seen some THING in the attic that scared her so bad that it disfigured her face. I always got scared walking by their place because it LOOKED like the kind of house that would be haunted. And this place also had a tiny attic window, too (Attic windows scare me, apparently) that had a tiny little light going constantly. Just added to the creepiness.

I've always had weird fears and anxiety. At about the same time Michael Jackson died and I became scared that he would pop up at my house and try to attack me. :demishook:

Hearing noises late at night can be some of the scariest shit tbh. So I don’t blame you.

That’s some true life the Nun in The Conjuring shit omg. I would’ve died. I’m with you on not giving things the satisfaction of getting to you, but when it comes to things I can’t see, all bets are off. My confidence levels go way down, and I’m like NAH!
