  1. Since gaming has one of these, I figured that TV and Movies should have one too. And official thread where you can talk about a specific TV show or Movie, rant about something you hated on your favorite, A new show you're starting, etc. You can still make threads obviously, but this is just for something you feel doesn't need a whole thread. Go nuts!

I love the competition shows like Guy's Grocery Games, Chopped, Cake Wars (I have a friend who won an episode of Cake Wars a few years back), all of the Baking Championships, Worst Cooks in America, etc. Not even kidding, I can sit and watch these shows for hours on end. It makes me, once again, wanna go to culinary school but that ain't gonna happen.

  14. It was confirmed yesterday that for the first time ever in US, Celebrity Big Brother will happen this winter. What is Big Brother? Celebrity Big Brother happened only in the UK so far. But the UK Big Brother format is much different from the US one so it could be pretty interesting to see celebrities actually compete in CBB US. In the UK format houseguests do practically nothing and the viewers vote the houseguests out whereas in US version houseguests compete, win for themselves, form alliances and vote each other out. Let's hope they won't change the format to UK one only because of the celebrities. Celebrity Big Brother UK cast mostly D-list "celebrities" and people that are well-known to only certain group of people (Tiffany Pollard, Perez Hilton, Michelle Visage, ...). Interesting fact: years back, Big Brother US producers attempted to do Celebrity Big Brother, they even snatched Paris Hilton and they had her confirmed but then scrapped it because they didn't wanna jump the ship cause probably wouldn't even get the dream celebs anyway and decided that with "real" people they'll keep it interesting.... scammers! --- Who do you think they'll snatch? Thoughts? I think it will be full of D-list celebs, youtubers, reality tv stars or siblings of celebrities; which I'm okay with I guess. Shane Dawson will probably be there since he's obsessed with BB and one time he said he wanted to do it.
  15. From left: Tamar Braxton, Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan and Ryan Lochte The cast of season two of Celebrity Big Brother has arrived. Viewers will soon be given 24/7 access to the cast that includes former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan, Ryan Lochte and Grammy nominee and TV personality Tamar Braxton. For Scaramucci's part, he is now the second former Trump aide to join the CBS reality series and move from the White House to the Big Brother house. Omarosa Manigault Newman starred in the show's first season where she made headlines after revealing details about her time in the White House. After her return to reality TV, she went on to write the explosive tell-all, Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House. In a promo airing during CBS football, Scaramucci was pegged as the show's "big surprise." From left: Kato Kaelin, Natalie Eva Marie, Kandi Burruss and Ricky Williams. Also joining the Mooch will be actor Joey Lawrence, Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett, Olympic track athlete and bobsledder Lolo Jones, former NFL running back Ricky Williams, former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, singer and reality star Kandi Burruss and Kato Kaelin (who is being described as "an infamous houseguest" for his O.J. Simpson fame.) In the show's promo Kaelin quips: "Living with celebrities is nothing new to me." From left: Joey Lawrence, Lolo Jones, Tom Green and Jonathan Bennett The new season kicks off for a two-night premiere event starting Jan. 21. The spinoff of the longtime CBS summer flagship will see its famous cast cut off from the outside world as they live together and compete in a slew of competitions and a social game battle for the $250,000 grand prize. The show will air for 13 episodes leading up to its season finale on Feb. 13. The first season crowned Hairspray actress Marissa Jaret Winokur as its winner beating runner-up Ross Mathews who was voted as "America's Favorite Houseguest." https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/celebrity-big-brother-cast-revealed-ryan-lochte-anthony-scaramucci-dina-lohan-more-1175684
  16. Has anyone had a chance to see this blatant rip-off of Vanderpump Rules yet? What is wrong with her voice? It sounds like someone’s holding her jaw while she’s trying to talk. She looks relatively...well for someone who’s spent 10+ years heavily abusing drugs and alcohol but her hair! She’s got that limp alcoholic hair. And she is DELUSIONAL. Saying she left America to “get away from the business.” NNN more like the business got away from her. And they’ve got that uber queen who played Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls hosting the after show. How they’ve both fallen off. Anyway, I don’t think I’ll tune back in unless they show that scene of her dancing that got turned into a gif.

  18. You guys MUST watch this show. It has one of the best opening opening songs of all time But aside from that, the show itself is fucking gold too. Cheesy but brings me back to a more innocent time.
  19. Who watches the television show? After participating in Oh My Gaga’s version of COP Survivor, I began watching it with my CBS on demand subscription and I am HOOKED omg. It’s like a grimier version of Big Brother. I’ve only seen one season so far, but it’s like fucking crack and I need my next hit ASAP. I’d also let Jeff Probst destroy every orifice on my body but that goes without saying!
  20. Believe it or not, it’s now been 10 years since we first met Anna Paquin’s Sookie Stackhouse and Stephen Moyer’s Bill Compton in HBO’s “True Blood,“ which premiered back in September 2008. At its best, the series was a wildly entertaining good time driven by one hell of a fun cast, which also included Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley and Alexander Skarsgård. Speaking about the show’s cast, series creator Alan Ball reflected over the weekend during a 10th anniversary screening of the pilot that it could’ve been very, very different. Benedict Cumberbatch came and read for Bill,” he said of the role that eventually went to Stephen Moyer. And that’s not all. Jessica Chastain read for what would be Anna Paquin’s role of Sookie Stackhouse. But perhaps most juicy was the news that Jennifer Lawrence was almost a were-panther in Season 3. “She was great,” Ball said of Lawrence. “But… because she was going to be Jason’s girlfriend, and she was 17 at the time, were like, ‘No that’s gross.’” Source: BloodyDisgusting!
  21. Celebrity Deathmatch back. Well, it will be, thanks to Ice Cube. Many of us remember sitting down in front of the TV and watching stop-motion animated bloody fights between celebrities as part of our wildest fantasies. It gave us the opportunity to see what would happen if celebrity beefs were transported to the ring in Pay-Per-View style. According to Deadline, MTV Studios will be bringing back the popular and bloody animated series, with Ice Cube set to star and executive produce through his company, Cube Vision. Series creator Eric Fogel will return to his baby as executive producer. “Happy to once again be working with Viacom and MTV on a fan favorite like Celebrity Deathmatch and to continue our success together,” Ice Cube said. Ice Cube will host, but will his animated version ever get inside the ring? Has he ever? The legendary gangsta rapper has pivoted over to the family man identity in recent years, so maybe he’s trying to up his street cred again? Who knows, but I know one thing: nostalgia is all up and through this decision. CDM premiered in 1998 and was subsequently canceled in 2002. A revival premiered on MTV2 in 2006 and lasted for two seasons. There was a failed attempt to reboot it for MTV2 in 2015, but Fogel confirmed it actually hadn’t been picked up for a pilot on Twitter. This is a good time to revive the show since social media wasn’t around during Celebrity Deathmatch’s origin. Imagine the celebrity beefs that could literally be squashed with a Claymation clash. Twitter fingers could turn to broken fingers—in the safety of fictional television, of course. A few matchups we’d love to see: Drake vs. Pusha T Kanye West vs. Everybody Black Cardi B vs. Nicki Minaj Azealia Banks vs. Anyone With A Twitter Account Beyoncé vs. Jay-Z (The BeyHive, who still ain’t really here for Jigga, but simply tolerates him for their queen, would live for this; let’s be honest.) Mariah Carey vs. J. Lo The Kardashians vs. Anonymity Kevin Hart vs. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Cardi B vs. Offset Nicki Minaj vs. Remy Ma Will Smith vs. Janet Hubert Michelle Obama vs. Donald Trump (y’all know she secretly wants to knock off that misshapen wig.) T’Challa vs. Killmonger (Editor’s note: Wait ...) 50 Cent (and his strap) vs. Ja Rule Rihanna vs. All The Salty Makeup Brands Issa vs. Lawrence Tariq vs. The Power Audience Mo’Nique vs. Lee Daniels Kevin Hart vs. Unemployment (Just to name a few) Cube and company will be shopping the reimagined series to air on premium and streaming networks in 2019. https://thegrapevine.theroot.com/bloody-beefs-in-the-social-media-age-ice-cube-and-mtv-1830909871
