  2. There always seems to be this misconception that if a song doesn't go No.1 is considered a 'flop'. But did you know that the best selling song of all time only peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No.5 in the UK Chart. "White Christmas" by Bing Cosby has sold 50m copies worldwide and if you combine the sales of all the other versions those sales add up to 100m records sold worldwide. I am currently working on a video of the most successful songs not to go No.1 in the UK and US. Currently, have 321 songs on this list and I've just limited it down to 100 songs but i'm curious to see if anyone on this forum know of highly successful songs not to go no.1. Below I will include a few songs that will be in the video hopefully coming soon

  20. SALLY WALKER DID THAT! On March 15, Iggy Azalea released her long awaited lead single Sally Walker, the song was able to peak in the top 3 on Itunes US which Iggy hasn't done since her Britney Spears assisted hit Pretty Girls. With Iggy having no label or promotion this was a big achievement for her and her fans. The music video for the track got 20+million views on YouTube in its first week, out streaming Kream. On Sunday the 24th of March, Billboard Hot 100 predictors, stated that the song would debut at around 99/100 on the chart. Iggy's last single Kream was able to debut at 96 on the chart. Now on Monday the 25th of March, it's been announced that Sally Walker has actually debuted at number 62 on the chart. Fans were pretty shocked with the chart placement of the song as it was only added to two somewhat large Spotify playlists (New Music Friday). The song hadn't been sent to radio at this point of time. This is why Iggy's success should be appreciated and acknowledged as she was able to do this with no label, no promo, no spotify playlist and no radio deals. STREAM SALLY WALKER
